The Homer-Center Youth and Government takes pride in coordinating our school's Veterans Day assembly.  This year, the national theme is "A Legacy of Loyalty and Service."  To that end, our club has committed ourselves to remembering that legacy by sponsoring  a Field of Flags.  DAV’s Field of Flags empowers our student community to setup up fields of American flags, all to honor local veterans and raise critical funds to support our ill and injured heroes.

The week of Veterans Day, we will place our flags in the front entrance of the school.  Each flag represents one veteran – and our unwavering commitment to serving all veterans after they’ve sacrificed so much for our country.  We hope to fill the front lawn with rows and rows of flags honoring our family, friends and community members.

All donations raise critical funds to support DAV’s life-changing services for veterans in need and their families.
