After 17 years of military service, Mike had difficulty adjusting back into civilian life. His PTSD left him hyper-vigilant and agitated. Living on just two hours of sleep per night, he lost his income and spent two years homeless and living on the streets.

A Veteran Stand Down pointed him to the support he needed. Today, Mike is a changed man. With help from DAV, he found a good job and has a place to live. And he’s getting things right with his family.
