Check-In Time: 7:00AM (for day-of registration, packet pick up, shop at the DAV Store, visit sponsors and mingle with family and friends)

DAV Store will be open Race Day starting at 7:00AM - 11:00AM. Be sure to check out our Fallujah: 20 Years Later photo gallery that commemorates those who fought in the most intense urban fighting since the Vietnam War. The wall is part of a DAV multimedia project that shows the effects of war on veterans long after the fighting has ended. You can hear veterans’ reflections and learn more at fallujahstories.org. 

Let your family and friends know they can still register race morning beginning at 7:00AM. We are CASHLESS again this year! Bring your phone, and you can scan a QR code to register on your device. Volunteers will be able to assist if needed.

Parking
Parking is available at various garages around the ballpark. Please arrive early. Road closures for the start and finish line will start at 4:00AM. The course closes 20 minutes before the race (8:40AM).

There will also be a 1 mile route option. Signage and volunteers will direct those who want to take the shorter route.
Motorcycle Ride
Plan to arrive at the motorcycle registration booth at the corner of Mehring Way and Joe Nuxhall Way, across from Morelein Lager House. A DAV representative will be there to assist you with lining up for the processional.
After Completing the Course
Upon completion, turn right onto Joe Nuxhall Way to cheer on the participants. Please park on Joe Nuxhall Way between 2nd and Mehring Way. A DAV 5K representative will be on-site to spot you for parking.

Timing
Back by demand, all DAV 5K Cincinnati participants will receive a timing chip as part of their registration. You can access the results of your 5K at, but the best way to view live race day results is in the RacePenguin Timing Mobile App
Finisher awards will be given to the top Veteran Male and Female finisher, and top Civilian Male and Female finisher. 
Packet Pickup

During this time, you will be able to pick up your race bib and shirt. Can’t make it November 9 or 10? Pick up your bib and shirt starting at 7AM on race morning at registration at Great American Ballpark. 
Bag Check 
On race day, Bag Check will be located in front of Great American Ball Park. All belongings must be claimed by 11AM. Any unclaimed bags will be taken to DAV Headquarters and can be picked up by appointment by emailing dav5k@dav.org.

Post Party

Join us for the ultimate DAV 5K after-party at The Banks on Freedom Way! Participating veterans can use the ticket from their bib and enjoy a drink and snack on our sponsors at one of four locations—Moerlein Lager House, Holy Grail, The Park or Jefferson Social.
